April 22 – Food Drive!

Helping Hands’ original program started in 2007. For many years, this twice yearly event in September and April was an excellent demonstration of true community spirit. These semi-annual Food Drives attracted more than 800 volunteers to collect and sort food donations that stock the Food Bank for Cochrane & Western Rocky View, which is operated by the Cochrane Activettes. Trespassing and Thefts in the Neighbourhood

Many neighbours woke up Saturday, March 11th to signs of trespassing and theft in the neighbourhood. Tracks in the snow showed that an individual hopped over fences in backyards. A few sheds were broken into but multiple sources said that nothing appeared to be stolen. Unfortunately, the individual entered one house on Bow Meadows Drive through the backdoor.
